Slight crack on back of neck
That's not a "crack" on the neck. That's how it is intentionally designed. It's two different pieces of wood assembled in that order to allow the re-stratighening of the fretboard if it ever gets warped with years of use. There should be a long threaded bolt which runs throughout the fretboard that can be tightened as needed.
