Powered by three AAA batteries housed under the On/Off switch for easy access and replacement. The easy to manage controls has six modes, On, Off, High, Medium, Flashing, Zoom In and Zoom Out. The energy efficient high quality LED bulb has a lifespan of 100, 000 hours and the brightness can go up to about 300 lumens with a beam range of approximately 170m.  The continued burn time is 10 hours at a time with the recommended Duracell batteries.
