Smoker Example: A person buy them first car cylinder head not good because a mechanic tell them that. They call a friend with experience and them tell them go shopinja. That mean they don't know the cost of a head and shopinja a d first place them a try buy it. They should name a price with no experience.
NOTE: STATE A PRICE SO PEOPLE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND FI DEM OWN.

My apologies...

First I have never seen a G10 cracked cylinder head. Very unusual. Now unless the spark plug hole is stripped or something else obvious, what I would be asking the mechanic is why he thinks the head is bad. Did you have the original head Pressure tested? I believe they can do that at JAGAS.

Are you overheating? Are you loosing coolant somewhere? But have no idea where? Did you blow the head gasket?

1) What can happen is that both the block and the head need to have their surfaces checked flatness. lapped the block deck, using dykem blue, gluing a piece of sandpaper to a precision angle plate, which is flatter than .0007".

2) Did you pressure check the entire cooling system for several hours?

3)  run a clear line from the overflow outlet to the windshield where you can see when it overflows. If it doesn't blow out the hose then the radiator system has a leak. If it does blow out then you are looking at combustion pressure or faulty cap.

4) did you check for exhaust gases in the coolant. There is a test kit for that.

5) Chinese aftermarket gaskets are CRAP. dont buy those.

6) Buy NEW head bolts with a new gasket. use assembly lube on the the threads (instead of straight 30 grade oil) and under washers of the head bolts, and torqued to 50ft lbs. My experience says that using this super slippery stuff lowers friction, raising the effective tension on the bolt by about 20% (the actual factory spec for the bolts is 54ft lbs) Are you using a torque wrench?

7) Did you inspect the water pump? any signs of leaks at the weep hole? Is the impeller firmly attached to the shaft?

Otherwise You can have my cylinder head for JA$5000,

Otherwise if you want rebuilt head US$370
Head is thoroughly cleaned and inspected
Pressure tested to ensure no cracks or leaks
Guide work performed / replace with new exhaust guides
Valve job / performed on Serdi or Sunnen machine
CBN milled to ensure straightness within .0015" and correct finish
All machine work performed on the latest state of the art equipment
All parts are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before assembly
Head is assembled with new valve seals
NEW exhaust valves
Head is VALVES & SPRINGS ONLY. Install your cam and lifters to save you money. (or complete with CAM installed is US$392).
