tripped over the power cord laptop falls of bed n drops. BAM!!! Screen then stop showing, press the power button and you see that it boots up but no action on screen.

Would prefer to fix it than to sell it for parts.

HP G60-519wm

try use an external Monitor first if it works you either have a dead screen or LCD cable

Then you either have a dead northbridge or damaged PCB tracks under southbridge might not be an easy repair either good luck
