Anybody know where I can get the in dash  console in a 2005 Honda Accord reprogrammed, or where I can get the CD to program it myself.

Car went to the mechanic for servicing and some electrical problems. When it came back the display like the one below stopped working. i.e not showing any audio display nor the a/c controls not working. Even the markers that guide you while reversing are no longer showing when the car goes into reverse Read up on the error and it seems it has to be reprogrammed.

pull the battery terminal and leave it for a few minutes then connect try that. is this in english or japanese

japanese and the battery pull is what caused the problem to start with

1. Start the engine.
2. error message appears on screen with old disc inserted.
3. Push 'MENU' and 'ZOOM DOWN' switches simultaneously for 2 seconds.
4. Screen turns to SYSTEM LINK page with a fanfare.
5. Press 'NEXT' switch (opens car staus page).
6. Press 'NEXT' switch (opens yaw rate page).
7. Press 'NEXT' switch (opens diagnosis menu page).
8. Select 'UNIT CHECK'.
9. Select 'FORCE DOWN LOAD'.
System will now start to download the old operating system firmware from the old disc, showing progress on a green bar gauge.
When finished the unit should be able to be started normally.


i have my software but its on a HDD in the car not a DVD SORRY

are you talking about the PC card slot when yu say its on a HDD in the car?

yours  do not have the Hdd option it would have been right where you dvd rom is.  i have seen some images online  just need to look 

try this for me

on your radio  there are five buttons 

going across  1 -5

press  2 ,3 and 5 for  a few seconds and tell me what do you see if anything change
