Wen upgrading to 7.x.x always diable iCloud before doing so. Setting/iCloud/scroll to the bottom of that screen and choose "delete iCloud" then choose delete from my iPhone then only then u are clear to upgrade your iPhone. Otherwise iCloud cannot be removed without the previous owners info.
