The check engine light was on due to the exhaust being decatted. The CEL was for an inefficient secondary catalytic converter. This was since rectified by turning off the secondary O2 in the ECU. That picture will be removed and replaced with an updated one.
The transmission is serviced by my mechanic and myself every 25k kilo. The last service was in March and a new Filtran Filter installed and Amsoil DCT fluid changed.
The clutches show no signs of abnormal slipping and grab especially hard in Sport mode. The fluid and filter showed no signs of excessive wear.
There has been no transmission related codes or issues whether shift fork or otherwise and once the 25k to 30k fluid and filter change interval is maintained the transmission will be ok.
The only issue with the car is a disabled ACD pump with is a factory flaw that affects Evo 9, Evo X and Ralliarts. Due to the placement and exposure to the elements the pumps tend to corrode and stop building pressure. This means the car defaults to Tarmac mode and drives like a regular 4wd. Drivability is not affected and both traction and stability controls work perfectly since they are controlled by the ABS module. Unless the car is rallied or Jamaica gets snow the other 2 modes won't be missed.
