is there any parts for these. I'm hearing "horror stories" of people trying to source parts for months now. like them but concerned about parts.

FYI: The Nissan Lafesta shares engine (MR20DE) and platform (Nissan Platform C) with the New XTrail, Serena and Qashqai.  The MR is a family of straight-4 all-aluminum automobile engines with variable valve timing. Other noteworthy features of this engine family include acoustically equal runner lengths and a tumble control valve for the intake manifold, a "silent" timing chain, mirror finished crankshaft and camshaft journals, and offset cylinder placement for an attempt in increased efficiency. The New Wingroad, Sentra and Bluebird Sylphy also uses this new engine that was specially designed to be very strong and fuel efficient. Parts should not be a problem to find for this new popular platform.

I should have been more specific. There isn't a ready supply of front end, engine and body parts. it has gotten so bad that persons are reluctant to buy this model. Dealers on the Hagley Park road stretch have to be scrapping some to provide parts. while this might not be indicative of your operation, that was the basis for the concern.

Case in point: Birthwright Auto has a 2005 lafesta from 2010 trying to sell and up to now still no sale.  :'(
