BASIC CORPORATE INFO
The H2B visa is available to employers of foreign workers not working in the agricultural field. This visa is only available for work that is temporary in nature. For H2B purposes, that means:
? Recurring seasonal need;
? Intermittent need;
? Peak-load need.
? One time occurrence.
Employers must also prove that there are no unemployed US workers willing or able to do the work. This is established through the state’s employment agency using a labor certification process.
This process requires a recruitment campaign, including advertising in a local newspaper for available temporary workers.
In order to be considered as a non-immigrant under the above classifications, the prospective employer must file Form I-129, Petition for Non-immigrant Worker, with the United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Once approved, the employer is sent a notice of approval, Form I-797.

Job Description:

In addition to cleaning duties, hotel housekeepers are responsible for shared duties, such as delivering beds to guest rooms, replenishing toiletry supplies and lifting and moving lightweight objects around the room.
Candidates will need to have a strong eye for detail.
Perform related work as required.
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Push a cart filled with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and towels as well as a bin in which they place items that need to be washed.
Placing mints on pillows nightstands once the cleaning is complete.
Occasional lifting in the event a bed or other furniture needs to be rearranged.
Make sure the floor area is clean.

Position Assigned: Hotel - housekeeper

Duties and responsibilities:

In addition to basic duties, hotel housekeeping employees will change sheets and make beds in the guest rooms. They keep the rooms stocked with clean cups, coffee supplies, towels and other bathroom items, such as shampoo.
Vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping and waxing floors and changing and laundering linen, cleaning windows and furniture.
Make sure the floor area is clean.
Push a cart filled with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and towels as well as a bin in which they place items that need to be washed.
Placing mints on pillows nightstands once the cleaning is complete
Make sure the floor area is clean.
