my ps3 stopped reading discs :(

so i turn on my ps3 to download fifa street demo i decide to pass the time by playing some fifa 12 and i insert the disc but the icon dosent show up
i tried all my other game cds but none of them show up
i''ve gone into my ps3s reboot menu i've rebuilt the data base i've restored the file system but nothing seems to work
if anyone can fix this problem or knows a solution please pm we'll go from there
