dont even need to 500gb, 1tb is waaay too much for what i'm gonna use it for and my budget is 10k

Those prices are way overboard....I can get a 1 TB for less than 8 grand from amazon Amazon.com: Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive 34919 (Gray): Electronics
