ShopinJA Rating System - Detailed Feedback
Detailed Comment I bought a desktop hard drive from him. I did note that in the phone conversation before my taking the drive, he showed very little interest in providing specific info like brand of drive, how used the hard drive was, how heavily and so on... Very peculiar for someone claiming to work in IT. I made the mistake of paying him and taking the hard drive anyway.

On checking at home, I found the hard drive to be dead (i.e. it did not spin up). I called him back, and he promised to replace the hard drive. However, the following transpired.

1. He claimed to forget the first meeting set up for him to bring the replacement hard drive.
2. He offered to meet at inconvenient locations subsequently (without bothering to confirm exact location or time).
3. He did not answer the majority of calls and text messages after two or three weeks.
4. He subsequently claimed his car was out of service at one point, and rented out at another.
5. When I contacted him via these forums, he stopped responding after the second reply.
6. Even when arrangements were (eventually) made for him to leave the hard drive for pickup at (b)TWO(/b) separate locations, he failed to honour those arrangements. (One of these locations is supposed to be his gf's workplace: figure that.) His excuses included: being very delayed (& supposedly out of town), being occupied at work (who isn't?), being unable to reach his third party (the above-mentioned gf).

Clearly, he has held on to my money, and will not replace my hard drive. I have written off the lost funds. I say this to all: this guy is clearly a (b)THIEF(/b), a (b)CON-MAN(/b), and a real (b)SCOUNDREL(/b). (The image that comes to mind now is that of a cross among a rat, a raccoon, and a skunk.) (b)DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM!(/b)
