Have a Hp DV 9000 when u Press the power button the screen lits showing no display text like the HP Logo or bios menu as it usually does. When i put in a Linux Ubuntu Live CD the BOOT UP GUI displays on the screen then disappears with the screen left lit with the backlight, while the Hard Drive indication light blinking and the CD drive processing if a CD is in the drive.

Specs are:

*Intel Centrino Core Duo 2GHZ processor
*Nvidia 7600 Geforce Graphics Card
*DVD burner
*2GB RAM
*120GB Hard Drive
*Bluetooth
*Wifi
*Battery last for about 30mins
*Charger

Everything is OK with the laptop apart from the GPU problem.
Laptop in 8 out of 10 condition screen may need tightening
