MSRP is $379usd, so he could get about 14 cards if he didn't pay tax, shipping, etc. However due to people mining crypto currencies, those cards are very hard to find and heavily marked up ($70+ over suggested) to demand. So he's basically looking for what currently does not exist. I was lucky enough to get one for about 450 last summer. Better off buying an ASIC miner right now.
