BlackBerry Bold 9650 - Full phone specifications (http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_bold_9650-3284.php) The 9650 came out after the 9700 and indeed may be considered better in terms of specs than the 9700 which is the bold 2 hence the name bold 3 assigned to the 9650. The 9780 is bold 4. Some people refer to the Bold 3 9650 as the Tour 2 as well.
