Title: VW MK1, MK2 or (MK3 LAST OPTION) Post by: teo88 on February 23, 2017, 10:43:47 AM Looking to buy my very first car to build from a standard driving condition and modified. The year doesn't matter but I would prefer if it was a MK2 or a MK1 preferably a (2 door) MK2, the car must not be in any rusty or almost dead condition at the very worst it should be a 7.5/10 with no major accidents. My budget isn't set in stone just yet for obvious reasons since modifications could go well over my budget but for now I'm all ears, any thing above $300,000 would have to be in the EXACT condition I would like the car to be in. I would prefer if the car was a Left Hand Drive, Manual transmission ( GTi ). My very very very last option would be a MK3 but as I said I'm all ears I havent seen or heard anyone speak of a MK2 since I was in High School. I'm just doing this a bit ahead of time just to get a feel of the market, I know MK2s are a bit of as rarity since this is 2017.
