AS stated earlier I will need your chassis number to be certain: If your model is a CS5A 4G93 (1.8L sedan with CVT) STHCR1D ECU A/T - MR560727 STHC ECU A/T - MR578480 (E6T30780) Estimated cost US$100 or MR593695 (E6T30777) STPC or STXC ECU A/T MR578481 (E6T30781) or MR593696 (E6T30778) The items with price I have been able to locate today but do have a time limit to purchase. You have 2 days to decide on that one. Also 2001 is a transition year so I would need the production month of the car to determine exact ECU. (again exact chassis number will be needed) Other ECUs may fit, but I will need photos of the ECU showing the connectors. See example here.
