Title: Lenovo Thinkpad x201 CONVERTIBLE TABLET w/digitizer 32k Post by: Slimton on December 30, 2016, 03:17:49 PM Yes. One of the most unique machines on the Island for sale.
Firstly, if you dont know what it is, google. Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Tablet (http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/lenovo-thinkpad-x201-tablet) Machine was customized to order (CTO) by me and purchased on Lenovo's website in 2010 SPECS Thinkpad X201 Tablet Part#0831CTO Intel Capella i7-620LM 2.00 Ghz 12.1" Multitouch screen with digitizer pen with pressure sensitivity 4GB PC3 DDR3 320GB HD 7200rpm Wifi Bluetooth Fingerprint Reader Webcam 2.0 MP Card reader 3 USB ports LAN WAN (Gobi 2000) GPS 3G Sim Card slot WIN 7 Pro (upgrade to 10 was offered but i stayed at 7) Points Machine is perfect for drawing directly on the screen. Thats what i used it for and it performed well at that. Screen rotates 180 degrees to convert to tablet mode Pen is stored in the computer and doesn't need batteries to work. Machine has a brand new battery. Estimated time is 8hrs with Wireless off Will also be sold with older batteries. Sold with original ThinkPad branded sleeve. Original power cord has been damaged and repaired. You will get the repaired cord and a Brand New Power Cord. Device uses sim card to enable 3G WAN I have used it to send and receive text messages on LIME network. This Feature as well as GPS require additional software. Fingerprint sensor allows only registered fingers to turn on if enabled. ISSUES. As with any computer that was used for some time, there are issues. 1. The webcam doesnt work. This was a known issue with this model. I purchased 2 replacement cameras. I installed one, which worked for a while then failed. I have the second camera still sealed in a box, brand new which you will get with the system to try again if you desire to. 2. Some rubber covers for screws and one rubber stop on palm rest missing. 3. One small hardly visible scratch on screen. Doesn't affect finger touch, pen input, nor screen viewing. Additional NOTES This Machine was used for AutoCad work and AutoDesk SketchBook Pro. It ran those without a glitch and is testament to the power of this older generation i7 processor. Even though its a 2010 machine, it will run laps around many of these baby Hp and dell laptops for sale today. Being a Thinkpad (Third Thinkpad i have owned) I am sure it has several more years left in it. Thinkpads of this era are very rugged. This one has an anti-shock technology that stops the Hard Drive from spinning if it falls to prevent data loss. Lots more on-board. Contact me at 3157748.
