I seem to have a bad hand when it comes down to smart phones. well long story short: Samsung support sucks. I can not upgrade my firmware since 2 month. everything original on the phone, no bootrom mod, no root mod, nothing. I am stuck with 2.3.3. so are a lot of other people (check forums). KIES (their itunes) stinks. Before the latest update today, the firmware updater said: "you do not run original firmware, that's why we hate you.. (similar)". not it says: "for your phone, there is no new firmware available". I want to upgrade to 2.3.5 (or at least 2.3.4) because of battery drain issues. Samsung support on the phone, keeps telling me, that someone at Samsung is not just drinkign coffee, but actually workign on the problems.. the Swiss support cente could flash it for me, if I send in the phone and wait 14 days. COMMON! ok..
