is it like a backup battery or one that extends the life of the bb batter? if so. how em things at the back tell u how much charge left on bb or on the battery that is in there ? after the bb battery power is drained, then the mini battery will power the phone and the purple lights are actually the mini batt. power level. I hope the explanation was helpful.
