How fast can this? Any idea of its 0 to 60? Lastly is there any engine problems?

The amazing thing about the Prius is that it is VERY FAST. It takes off like it's under boost when you sink the pedal because both the electric Motor and the Engine instantly come 'online' together!

I have no idea what the 0 -  60 is on my Prius. Never tried. Just know it is very peppy and puts a smile on my face when I need power. ;)

Where do you get this serviced and at what cost? Also what is the cc rating? I'm not a fan of hybrids,,I find them quite ugly, but I'm looking to downgrade and lower my cost of operating a vehicle. So at this moment I'm quite interested in this.

Quite frankly I'm shocked at the lack of knowledge in Jamaica of how simple a hybrid system works and runs. Basically it has a 1500cc 1NZ engine (Corolla) sitting beside a motor in the engine bay. The motor works like the motor in a toy car. You put a big battery to it and it spins. The car can drive slowly and silently on battery/motor power alone or if you press, then the 1500cc engine trips in and you have both motor and engine power together. When driving normally - such as highway cruising or in stop and go traffic it switches alternately and silently between the two. If you're going downhill or press the brakes, friction recharges the battery. Easy to service by mechanic. Computer in the dash tells you what's happening. Car is robust - thousands of them are the taxis on the road in California.

Boss, you only answered 1 part of my question, I care not about a lesson, all I need to know is where n how much you paid to service the car. My own mechanic says he stays away from hybrids.

Your mechanic is very ignorant of the facts. The engine is the same as in a 1NZ Corolla. Except it does not use any belts. The car needs no alternator since it has a large Electric motor generating electricity. So no alternator problems. Electric power steering. So no power steering belts. The Prius transmission is built extremely tough and needs a fluid change once every 100,000km. Engine wear is very minimal because it is assisted by the motor. So recommended oil change is 8000km. Oil is always pretty and golden in a Prius. Genuine a Toyota oil at averts or Toyota Jam is about $1500 a quart. You need 4. Genuine transmission oil was the most expensive thing I bought for about $10000. Uses ordinary Corolla brakes which rarely ever wear because the drive train brakes the car to regenerate electricity. Mine has never been changed and still like new. Conclusion: A Prius is extremely low on maintenance and is one of the cars recommended to keep running well over 320,000km trouble free. Google it please.
