They are fine for park lights and indicators or if you want your fog lamps to look pretty, but be essentially useless. one such review below. They have different level of brightness so its up to u to choose. most person i sell LED fog lamp they use it as a form of fashion or to match their HID light... if u need real bright LED fog lamp the "CREE" brand with the projector works fine. and its waaay bright too. SMD without the projector wont give off dat much brightness. gonna show u an example....

You keep referring to their brightness. I'm referring to the projection of light in a usable manner, fit for fog lights. Even with the 'projector' it will not project enough. Trust me bro, I'm into off roading and I use LEDS all over my rig, from the most expensive European stuff to the cheap China crap. So far, in a OeM foglight housing, halogens are still the way to go.
