Actually, if you know the price of these direct from Dell you wouldnt be talking all that nonsense.

Its reasonably priced a similar config from dell last week was $1230.

It is too expensive, even though the is customized at dell.com it would be that price, but you are not dell, thus the pricing should be different. It is a good laptop though, its a shame that the 8gb is shared memory and that the price is this high. If there is a price drop holla at me.

If you know where to look, you can find a (brand new) laptop with better specs than this for quite a bit less. Notwithstanding the prestige and brand name factors (dell is overpriced), this isn't exactly cutting edge anymore. Not saying that this laptop isn't worth a lot for it's features, but it's too highly priced for what it offers at this point in time. You may want to reconsider your pricing as ad has been up for a while now...

i totally agree dell is way overpriced and over rated. with 108000 just get a great mcbook pro unibody madd!!

The memory is only shared when using the 2nd video card which is Intel HD 3000, when using the Nvidia (when playing games or watching a movie) it uses the video cards 1GB. I decided not to sel this laptop and kept it for myself but after 2mths I received a Dell Precision from work and i'm selling it for 85K
