seriously though i'd love to see who's gonna do this.. If you think about it this makes sense.. because your actually paying for the phone.. if i read correctly it says that the rental charge will be deducted if person wants to purchase cell phone so that means your actually buying the cellphone if you choose the 2 month option...

Same reason other people rent various other things ....

A person may not want to front all of 50k.. so you rent .. use and get back your money, good for testing out things .... you have people renting apartments for $60k when they can buy a house and pay $50 mortgage ::) just boils..

As mentioned this is a nice concept, perfect for people with credit cards .. nuttin try nuttin done :ninja:

SO HOW THE BUSINESS SO FAR? ANY CUSTOMERS AS YET?

To clarify all queries/comments made:

1) we also sell phones outright
2) this is just an additional service we provide to give customers a "test run" before committing. how many times you bought something but it wasn't what you expected but you couldn't return it?!?
3) deposit is either via credit card or cash. in most cases 50% of the value of the phone, but we don't require 100% of value. however, if phone damaged/lost/stolen...full replacement value will be charged. this is after all a business like everyone else's.
4) in these times we're trying to work with customers to fit every need that's out there...business people that are flexible with their customers are better off.

Trust mi, and this is a big problem more so with Blackberry, can't tell you the amount of people i see buy blackberry and within Hours/days they want to sell it because it not what they were expecting :wd:
