Title: Push-to-start car alarm kit (including installation) Post by: Snyper on December 19, 2013, 04:17:59 PM Many months ago, someone had texted me a quote for a keyless entry, remote-start car alarm system (including an additional push-to-start relay switch). The proposed system must rely on the key-fob being in or near the car to unlock the doors (through central-locking) and the ignition, prior to pressing the push-to-start button.
At no time should I have to use the key to physically unlock the doors or switch on the ignition. Needless to say, I lost my phone with all that info. I'd consider any alarm brand other than the K9 models. I've had bad experiences with these units. I saw something online years ago that would have done the trick, but I couldn't agree with the price, so I didn't bother. I can't even recall what solution I found at that time.
