Did you take it to some one else? if you did then the problem is you have a circuit protection fault so adapter cut off point not working so I will replace the transistors that controls the adapter cut off that can be repaired within half hour only $4000

Thanks
Steven

I have a lenovo ideapad p500 laptop that just won't turn on anymore. I would press the power button and the fan, CPU and harddrive all power up but the screen remains off then no error or anything it just shuts off.

Now I have to say it was working perfectly prior to me adjusting some bios settings for the integrated graphics (Intel HD 4000). So most likely that's the issue. So I decided I'd take apart my laptop and simply pull the CMOS battery to reset the bios settings. Then realized its soldered onto the board, I still removed it and resoldered it but it still has the same issue.

I tried a power cycle previous to removing the CMOS (take out the battery, plug in charger and hold down the power button) but still nothing.

Any ideas how you would go about fixing this and what would be the charge?
