Have the customer tried doing a factory reset or wiping the data?

He crash the phone. Might no be that simple spoke to he got Rom Manager from app market
The proceed to flash the rom from there without being rooted or s-off
So he might have corrupted the orginal firmware

hence why i gave the link i posted ....it has the original mod files

yes. Asked him if he s-off the phone or rooted he said "ahhhh i dont think i did all that, yeah i did all you said and just try to install the rom and now it stuck"  :g:

And to root the mytouch 4g and install custom rom - you need to be on the orginal stock gingerbread not the upgraded gingerbread ( An i am not talk custom os)

But as time develops i guess the process might have changed

Well i know my thing to sir but i am not in any competition - i think if he wants to give it to him. he should if he wants to get it back asap but sometimes rooting and modding is teadous based on the phone an what is required
