There are different models of DV2000 and the boards might not all be compatible with your unit. There might be differences with heatsink screws locations which might require a heatsink replacement or drilling of an additional screw-hole on the heatsink. There are also differences in the width of the touchpad cable. If you cannot find the p/n of the mbd then you can go to "partsurfer.hp.com", enter the p/n of your laptop (in your case located on a white label on the underside of the laptop) and a list of the components will be displayed. Better yet, you can avoid all the expenses by trying a usb sound card. |
