January 24, 2009 Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival 2009 | Montego Bay, Jamaica | (http://209.235.244.14/islandstubs.inticketing.com/images/ja_jazz_logo.png) The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, since its introduction in 1996, has grown into the island’s premier entertainment event. Over the past five years the Festival has attracted thousands of patrons from the USA, Europe, the Caribbean and Jamaica. The 2006 Festival saw the attendance of over 40,000 persons with approximately 8,000 visitors to the islands. There is every indication that the Festival will continue on its growth path and firmly establish itself as one of the major musical events globally. Tickets for the festival will be available at locations in Jamaica as well as online. Online tickets will go on sale by Monday, November 17, 2008 and at box offices by Monday December 15, 2008. I am hoping they had a good turn out too, for some strange reason I could not find anyone that i know what was going at least the people I talk to on a regular basis.
