With my A/C vents closed, and my windows wound up, I will still smell outside air seeping within a few seconds of driving past an undesirable smelling spot as though I had my windows down.

The refrigerant pressure is still good. The issue is that even with the recirculating vents closed, I still have outside smells circulating inside the car as though I had the windows open.For example, if I was driving past a fire, the 4-6 seconds later, I smell the smoke in the car. I understand that your tool doesn't help to troubleshoot this. Could your tool test car doors and bonnets for sound deadening qualities such as quieting engine noise, or reducing background noises for the audio system? |
