With the abundance of online social networking sites twitter seems to be the new craze among popular personalities both foreign and local,  but in a nutshell twitter isn’t really 100% social networking, its more like text messaging on crack the simplicity of it puzzles allot of people making them criticize and ridicule twitter, but in my opinion people will always speak ignorantly and negatively about what they don’t truly understand.

I am a daily user of twitter and i use it mainly for marketing, but at the same time being on twitter you get instant breaking news and/or happenings, and by instant i mean INSTANT sometimes even before the press, and to me having this at my disposal is a must.

On the local Jamaican scene allot of business are jumping on twitter to do marketing, but on the flip side on twitter you can find many local artist twitting away their daily happenings, and to their followers this is a treat as they really feel a direct connection between them and the artist.
