Google’s not taking any of this lying down. Secretly, they’ve been working on a new project: the next generation of Google Search. This isn’t just some minor upgrade, but an entire new infrastructure for the world’s largest search engine. In other words: it’s a new version of Google.
The project’s still under construction, but Google’s now confident enough in the new version of its search engine that it has released the development version for public consumption. While you won’t see too many differences immediately, let us assure you: it’s a completely upgraded Google search.
Google specifically states that its goal for the new version of Google Search is to improve its indexing speed, accuracy, size, and comprehensiveness. Here’s what they wrote:
“For the last several months, a large team of Googlers has been working on a secret project: a next-generation architecture for Google’s web search. It’s the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions. The new infrastructure sits “under the hood” of Google’s search engine, which means that most users won’t notice a difference in search results. But web developers and power searchers might notice a few differences, so we’re opening up a web developer preview to collect feedback.”

US $5-Million Internet Upgrade to Offer Customers Faster, More Reliable Service
LIME ROLLS OUT 8MB INTERNET SERVICE | Wednesday, July 15, 2009
Kingston, Jamaica -
Following on its recent launch of Jamaica’s fastest 3G mobile service, LIME has announced the rollout of 8MB Internet service packages and price cuts up to 24 per cent on its residential packages to make internet service more affordable and accessible across the country.
The telecoms provider is pumping US $5-million into a major upgrade of its internet infrastructure to bring its customers faster speeds and more reliable service. The upgrade project, which will run from now until September, will allow LIME to begin offering an 8MB service package in select areas.
Through to September, LIME will be introducing its 8MB offering in Portmore, Montego Bay and communities across Kingston and St Andrew. Customers will now enjoy an enhanced Internet experience as the additional speed will facilitate faster access to many of their favourite online activities including online gaming, shopping, downloading music and movies, social networking, picture sharing, video streaming and much more.
“LIME is now offering 8MB in selected areas and by the time our upgrade project is finished in September, we will be offering 8MB in most of the residential areas where we have high Internet traffic and this will give our customers more than enough speed for all their favourite online activities,” said Geoff Houston, country Manager for LIME in Jamaica.
“We are making a major investment to improve our Internet backbone to give our customers world-class Internet service with faster speeds and consistent, reliable connectivity,” he added.

Its Official, there is now a place online for ‘Cheaters/Wanna-be Cheaters/Potential Cheaters’ This online portal www.ashleymadison.com with Tag Line “LIFE IS SHORT. HAVE AN AFFAIR.” Seems to be getting allot members (4 million+) who all have one thing in Common, you guessed it, ‘Cheating’
The idea is that they provide a private and secure online platform for cheaters alike to hang out anonymously and meet, greet, cheat then move on with life
as it turns out millions of people have this in common. To further kick it up a notch they now have an ashleymadison Mobile iPhone/Blackberry App
which apparently will make cheating that much easier by putting it right in the palm of your hands.
But the question is, with or without the aid of technology wont people still cheat and find new and unscrupulous ways t do so ??
Check out an article written by Jeremy Caplan from Time Magazine with regards to the Mobile cheating Apps.
Cheating 2.0: New Mobile Apps Make Adultery Easier
By Jeremy Caplan
Two-timing politicians, take note: Cheating has never been easier. AshleyMadison.com, a personals site designed to facilitate extra-marital affairs, now boasts slick iPhone and Blackberry versions that help married horndogs find like-minded cheaters within minutes. The new tools are aimed at tech-savvy adulterers wary of leaving tracks on work or home computers. Because the apps are loaded up from phones’ browsers, they leave no electronic trail that suspicious spouses can trace.
Even as public outrage boils up over the infidelity of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and Nevada Senator John Ensign, millions of Americans are sneaking online to do some surreptitious cheating of their own. (Read TIME’s report: Senator John Ensign: ‘I Had an Affair’)
