Granny abuses child for stealing credit?

A 65-year-old woman was slapped with criminal charges following the beating of her 12-year-old grandson, who allegedly stole credit from her phone.
The incident happened in Cross Keys, Manchester.
According to the Area Three police, the information they have so far received suggests that the child was beaten after he is said to have transferred $200 worth of credit from the woman’s cellphone to his girlfriend’s cellphone.
The grandmother was charged with assault and cruelty to a child on Wednesday.
“So far, what we have is that the boy was beaten after he stole some credit from his grandmother’s cellphone and sent it to his girlfriend. That is actually what he said. He had bruises all over his boy and he also had an injury to his head,” Inspector Martin Howell of the Area Three Police Division told THE STAR.
